The key speakers and preachers are ecclesiastical “rock stars.” They tell wonderful stories about how their churches are growing, building, giving, and reaching. The average church in your area, though, is barely maintaining (yours included). When the big names and big churches get so much attention, what is the emotional, theological, and personal impact on the small church pastor?
